Drying, sorting & quality criteria

Veneer drying and classification are important industry steps. Buyers can specify moisture range, thickness tolerance and acceptance limits for knots, holes and splits.

03

Bundling & order preparation

Finished veneer sheets are shown in stacked and strapped bundles. Packing, quantities and dispatch timing are confirmed according to the actual order.

STANDARD 40GP CONTAINER SHIPMENTS

Let's plan your standard 40GP veneer shipments.

We welcome enquiries for standard 40-foot dry container (40GP) shipments. For each order, we consider available loading space and permissible cargo weight. Loading quantity, monthly availability and delivery time are confirmed based on veneer species, grade, thickness, moisture and actual packed weight.

QUALITY DISCUSSION POINTS

Clear requirements before production.

The following are key specifications that buyers and suppliers should agree before confirming a veneer order.

01

Size & thickness

Typical size: 640 × 1,270 mm. Thickness options: 1.45, 1.5, 1.7, 1.8 and 2.0 mm. Tolerances require order confirmation.

02

Moisture content

The preliminary product range shared by DLVT is 8–20%; the required shipment target and testing method must be agreed for each order.

03

Surface & defects

Grade A/B/C terminology is commercial and requires an agreed reference sample and limits for knots, holes, splits and discoloration.

04

Bundling & delivery

Bundle size, sheet count, destination and shipment schedule are to be agreed before order confirmation.
