Cleaner appearance, fewer visible defects and tighter sample-based acceptance.

Quality starts with clear specifications.
We discuss wood species, dimensions, moisture targets and acceptable natural defects before order confirmation—helping buyers select veneer for the right manufacturing purpose.
Grade A / B / C — built around approved samples
These are proposed commercial grade descriptions, not a claim of certified compliance with a particular standard. Final grade limits will be agreed in writing for each order.
Natural color variation and minor knots or marks may be permitted within agreed limits.
More visible knots, openings or splits may be accepted only when fit for the agreed application.
A clear way to compare grades
This matrix is a starting point for discussion. It does not set numerical defect limits or automatically replace the factory’s own grading system.
| Check item | GRADE A | GRADE B | GRADE C |
|---|---|---|---|
| Surface appearance | Cleaner, more even surface | Moderate variation and minor imperfections | Noticeable natural defects where agreed |
| Knots | Very limited; subject to reference sample | Small sound knots may be accepted | More or larger knots subject to buyer approval |
| Open knots / holes | Not intended; agreed inspection rules apply | Only if specifically approved by size and count | Subject to agreed maximum size and count |
| Splits / cracks | No significant open splits in selected surface | Minor defects only when explicitly accepted | Larger defects only for suitable agreed end use |
| Discoloration | More consistent visual appearance | Moderate natural tonal differences | Higher color variation may be permitted |
| Typical selection | Selected visual/surface use, subject to specification | General plywood and processing applications | Core/utility use only when fit for purpose |
Specify what matters. Verify before shipment.
The ranges shown are commercial reference specifications supplied for DLVT’s product planning. Exact tolerances, moisture targets, and the method of measurement must be confirmed for the relevant grade, wood species, and purchase order.
A practical inspection framework
The six checkpoints below are recommended for implementation and should be verified with the factory. They are not a claim that every step has already been independently audited.
Confirm species and visible log defects.
Review surface integrity and cutting quality.
Measure representative sheets using agreed methods.
Test moisture using a defined sampling and test method.
Record knots, open holes, cracks, stains and splits.
Check bundle details, lot identification and approved grade mix.
Clear references, no unsupported certifications
